Instructions
1: In a large bowl, combine warm milk and active dry yeast. Allow it to sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy. 2: In another bowl, mix all-purpose flour, sugar, and salt. 3: Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and softened unsalted butter to the milk yeast mixture. Mix well. 4: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Knead until the dough is smooth and elastic. 5: Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours or until doubled in size. 6: For the topping, mix softened butter, powdered sugar, all-purpose flour, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth. Add food coloring if desired. 7: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). 8: Once the dough has risen, divide it into small balls, and shape them as desired. 9: Apply the topping mixture over each concha shape. 10: Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown. 11: Allow to cool slightly before serving.View original recipe
